Avoid travel, seek shelter. Well, we’re seeking, but b/c everywhere is full, we’re still traveling. Ordinarily, an 8 hr drive - 17 hrs.
5 hours later and we clear the 25 mile back-up en route Roanoke, now we’re chuggin’ right along.
2 semis and their trailers blocking both routes to the meeting place. Already 2 hrs behind sched.

Been at Cracker Barrel for an hour and a half. Or so. Stupid 81 being a winter wonderland.
134 miles from Roanoke, about 6-7 in of snow, gettin’ prepped to stop at Cracker Barrel.
94 miles from Asheville, listening to Rush, anticipating heavy snow, sibs snappin phone pix.
Today: Studyfest. Tonight: My Father’s Dragon trilogy, Anton Chekhov - Selected Stories, Pixar’s Up.
Comfort Eagle Partial Review

Today I overslept and missed work; I called my boss seven minutes before I would have clocked out and apologized for staying up until two in the AM studying. Her terse tone affirmed my disappointment in myself. I have a lot to be disappointed about. Hebrews is working in my heart, convicting me of my inaction.
